Montessori Preschool Director and Head Teacher

Little Acorns Montessori, located in Santa Cruz, California, is seeking a dynamic Montessori Preschool Director and Head Teacher to help rebuild our wonderful school post-pandemic. Little Acorns Montessori serves up to 50 children daily from 6 months through 6 years old. We hope to hire a candidate by June 2021.

The successful candidate will have

Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a Montessori preschool setting,

Preschool teacher qualified, with at least 12 units of ECE education including child development and child, family, community

Have Montessori early childhood teacher certification.

Ability to manage administrative duties including licensing compliance and file management

Have, or be willing to take, 3 units of school administration

Have, or be willing to take, 3 units of infant toddler related coursework

Have attended, or be willing to attend, a California Childcare Licensing Orientation

Have, or be willing to get, 8 hours of preventative health and safety training in addition to CPR and first aid.

Active criminal background clearance
